P/01 · Venue screen networkLive

Any TV becomes a managed sign, and every sign earns.

DisplayCircle turns a television with a browser into a digital sign and links it to every venue on the network. Pubs, cafés, gyms and clinics rotate their own menus, live news and weather, and play their neighbours' adverts for credits they can spend or cash out.

Credits move only for plays a screen can prove: a signed play token, a believable duration and a heartbeat showing the TV was awake and in view. We call it Proof-of-Display.

MetalAPI is a real-time and historical price API for precious and industrial metals, energy, 57 currencies and crypto. Developers reach it through a JSON REST API, price alerts and embeddable widgets.

A price engine merges six independent sources by median, filters bad ticks and streams every change to customers. An MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor ask for prices in plain language.

A new London studio, built on twenty years of shipping.

MBC Labs LTD is headquartered in Covent Garden, London. It was founded by Cihan Akıncı, an engineer and entrepreneur who has been building digital products since 2004.

Before MBC Labs, Cihan founded and led Lovesoft in Istanbul, where his team delivered more than 150 projects for over 50 clients. Among them: Seviyorum.com, a brand platform with over two million users; MetalAPI, a real-time precious-metals data API used worldwide; Aşkım.com, a social platform with half a million members; and nine consumer apps on the App Store and Google Play, used in more than 90 countries.

MBC Labs brings that same team and discipline to the UK market with a sharper focus: mobile, web and AI products, designed and built end to end, and supported long after launch.

Questions we get on the first call.

How much does a mobile app or web platform cost?
Every product is different, but most MVPs we build land between £15k and £60k, with larger platforms beyond that. After a free discovery call we send a fixed-price proposal with a clear scope and timeline, so there are no surprises.
How long does it take to launch?
A focused MVP typically ships in 8 to 12 weeks. Complex platforms with multiple user roles, integrations or AI features take longer. Either way, you see working software every week from the first sprint.
Do you work with startups as well as established companies?
Yes. We help founders go from idea to first users, and we help established businesses modernise, scale or add AI capabilities to existing products. The process is the same: a small senior team, a clear scope and weekly demos.
Who owns the code and the IP?
You do. Everything we create for you, including source code, designs and documentation, is transferred in full. We deploy into your own cloud and store accounts, so you are never locked in.
What happens after launch?
We offer flexible support and growth plans covering monitoring, maintenance, store updates and new features. Many clients keep us on as their long-term product team.
Can you add AI to a product we already have?
Yes. We integrate language models, vision and recommendation systems into existing apps and platforms, with attention to cost, privacy and evaluation so the feature genuinely works for your users.
